False bulletins containing imaginary complaints for infringements of the German Highway Code: it is the scam reported by a citizen of Udine who discovered inconsistencies and reported the fact to the Carabinieri. The report, delivered to more unsuspecting motorists, written in Italian, orders the payment of a not excessively high sum of money, to be paid into a current account which is indicated in the IBAN. Attached to the report, then, to make everything even more credible, there is a form with which the motorist victim of the scam can challenge the violation. a fraud.
Those who, on the other hand, for work or other reasons, went to Germany by car, often preferred to pay the fine, precisely because of a few tens of euros. The Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Udine, having received the report - a fine was contested for speeding in Northern Germany - invited anyone who received a similar complaint to report the incident by delivering the documentation received, for subsequent investigations.
