The OnlyFans website, known for its risque content and which gained popularity during the pandemic, announced Thursday that it will
censor all "sexually explicit" content
starting in October.
The UK-based company, which claims to have two million
paid
"content creators"
for uploading photos and videos, clarified that
it will still allow nudity
within an "acceptable use policy" still in definition.
OnlyFans said in a statement that the changes are in response to
concerns from bankers and investors
, as it seeks to expand its audience beyond adult content, with cooking or yoga photos and videos.

In fact, because it is associated with pornography, the app is not available in the Apple and Google stores.
As of October 1 "OnlyFans will prohibit the publication of any content with explicit sexual conduct," notes the newsletter.
"Creators may continue to post ... nudes as long as they are consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy," he adds.
The text does not specify what OnlyFans considers to be sexually explicit content, but indicates that it will "share new details in the coming days."
Due to this associated with pornography, the OnlyFans app is not available in the Apple and Google stores.

"We remain dedicated to our community of 130 million users and more than two million creators who have received more than $ 5 billion on our platform."
OnlyFans, a favorite of porn stars looking to make extra money, gained popularity during the pandemic, with sex workers connecting with clients online.
But the site recently launched
a "fit for work" channel
offering videos focused on areas like fitness, music or cooking, to compete with platforms like Facebook that also pay content creators.
The news comes after Pornhub operator MindGeek revised its policies this year amid pressure from payment processors concerned about complaints about posting illegal content on the site, such as pedophile or rape videos.
