Four days after the death of a 14-year-old teenager, the litany of executions continues in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône).
Three men were executed during the night from Saturday to Sunday in the Marseille city.
Around 12:40 a.m., at the Navy Blue (14th century), a city in the northern districts of the city, shooters installed in two cars opened fire and fired in a burst at two men seated on a low wall.
The marine firefighters, called to the scene, were unable to revive them.
According to La Provence, the weapons used are of the submachine gun type and 9 mm.
The judicial police are responsible for the investigation.
A little later that night, the police were notified that a 27-year-old man had been kidnapped in the city of Chartreux (IVe).
His body was found, holed with bullets, in the trunk of a burning car.
"All the victims were known to our services for facts related to drug trafficking," says a police source in La Provence.
A succession of settling of scores
Since the beginning of the year, twelve people have officially died in what investigators attribute to settling of scores between rival gangs on the basis of territorial control or revenge.
On June 28 and 29, a similar procedure had already been used.
On the 28th, arriving by car at the Martine stadium (15th century) where a football tournament was taking place, men opened fire on two others who were discussing outside the sports arena.
One is seriously injured.
The other, aged 32, had found himself ten years earlier in the so-called “blacks against gypsies” war, worried about a triple settling of scores.
The next day, a 23-year-old man, unknown to the police, was targeted with a gun from a moving car.
He is seriously injured.
On August 12, a man was killed in Martigues, while he was taking things out of his safe, individuals shot him from a car which was then found burnt.
He was originally from the city of Lauriers, in Marseille.
