Musician Jacko Eisenberg (40) is in a period of renewed flowering. Thanks to his participation in "Big Brother" (the final on Tuesday on Network 13), new generations were exposed to him who did not know him at all, along with many people who judged him badly 16 years ago when he experienced the crash of his life.

For those who do not remember, we will mention that Jacko won the "Star Born" final in 2006 and overnight became a huge star all over Israel. But a few days later, he was interviewed by Yedioth Ahronoth, and there, following remarks he made about conscription into the IDF - especially during a sensitive period after the Second Lebanon War - he was at the heart of a media storm. He apologized to those affected, All his appearances were canceled - and his career died out even before she left.

In a special interview at Walla!

Jacko recounts the difficult years he faced in the mental crash using treatments and psychiatric pills;

Reveals that he even thought of ending his life;

Talks about the desire to take advantage of the current success following his participation in Big Brother;

And tells of the dream that his song would go through a playlist in Galgalatz.

I imagine you are currently experiencing very, very exciting days. Tell me a little about what you're going through.

"Every time you stay at the fireplace you feel like you live a normal life at home, that it's filmed and everything, and when you get out of there the impact is like from zero to a hundred without prior preparation and it's amazing. I experience a lot of love. It's something I still have to learn to contain.

Tell me about what an extraordinary response you received.

"Unusual for me is when a person stops the car in the middle of the road, opens the window and says 'I just wanted to say thank you.' It's weird for me because 'Okay, thank you for what?' To read between the letters the intention and what fun. "

So what are you thanking for?

"Thank you - I think, yes? - for the music and thanks for the funny and exciting moments during the season that gave the people watching the house a little laugh, to get excited. I understand the thanks.I wish I would do more things in life that can be thanked. "

Last time you felt this madness - it was 16 years ago when you won Star Born.

Is there a difference in the excitement of then to the excitement of today?

"First of all, then I almost didn't get excited. It was very short. And I was younger too, so with fewer feet on the ground and it's pretty dizzying. Now in the disproportion I manage to find the proportion and see everything in a balanced way, really contain that thing. It's a lot, it's a lot. "

So for those who do not remember, 16 years ago, after you won 'A Star Is Born' you gave an interview to Yedioth, an interview that changed your life. You spoke about the soldiers just a minute after the second Lebanon war, and all sorts of things. The interview did you traumatized? Governor as we sit here in this interview you afraid Mhistoatzih something of this? That make you nervous?

"No, PTSD has been working, Everything has been internalized. No, I have no unnecessary fears when it comes to interviews. I am also whole with myself and cohesive. So there is nothing I can say and I will surprise myself. "

What happened following that interview that changed your life?

"It was like a snowball. It started from something small and every last day it felt like it was more enveloping my world and the reactions on the street were not long in coming. Everyone had something to say and mostly bad things. It got me into a situation where I was already scared of people's reactions on the street so I was pretty much locked in the house for a long time at the end of which I chose to leave the country for the Netherlands. I moved there to regain the ability to look people in the eye That everyone who came to talk to me came to my detriment.In Amsterdam I found myself working in the jobs of a frontline service provider getting to know people, talking to them, and it worked.

"When I came back to the country I was in a much better position. It's true that things have not picked up since I came back. I tried to put out singles, perform, do all sorts of things, but it didn't exactly pick up. There was always this thing floating over my head. There were sentences from people in the industry I wanted Work with them and tell me 'first of all that stain you have over your head - remove it and then maybe we will work with you'. There was no washing powder or wonder powder that would remove this stain. Hopefully I can remove the stain. "

There were also treatments, pills?

"Yeah, sure. When you're in a situation where you do not leave the house for a year and are afraid of people and not going to perform. Really. Not going to perform. There is a performance and I do not come."

Your show and you did not come?

"Yes, at this level. Because I'm scared, because I have no confidence. When it came to that level, then I told myself I needed treatment. On my own, I came to a treatment that also included psychiatric medication."

It has also reached a state of suicidal thoughts, say?

"The whole rainbow of thoughts was. It's not surprising. It's being in the highest possible place and very quickly, in less than a week, getting the other side. It can shock any soul, no matter how strong. I had to take care of myself, I'm glad I did, "I made the decision to take matters into my own hands and get treatment and it worked."

We also saw an example in the recent period of a reality participant, Tamar Tai Amar, who put an end to her life. There is a lot of mental stress when you are in this situation, certainly and certainly when you are young.

"Exactly. I did not know about this case because I was inside the fireplace when it happened. I was exposed to it when I went out and was shocked. Really. Yes, there are people behind everything we see and hear and mess with. There are people, there are souls. There should be - I will not say be. "But we need to internalize the fact that we can all eventually reach extremes following the public's reaction to us. It's not easy."

Did all this also hurt your ability to produce a relationship?

"The preoccupation with mental healing and in fact the preoccupation with myself all this time completely took me the focus away from aiming for a relationship, and even if there was a relationship then it was not necessarily a relationship that soars to heights. Everything was very, very stopped and sad.

What do you think of Rami Kleinstein by the way?

I ask this because in the same interview 16 years ago you also got down on him.

"I really like Rami Kleinstein. There may be things here and there that I'm less connected to. I grew up on him, I know all of his songs by heart. Okay, so here and there are some of his songs that I'm less connected to. It's fine. I'm not. I expect everyone who connects with me to love everything I do. "

In the market it is VIP.

Jacko (Photo: Screenshot, Network 13)

Why did you actually decide to go to Big Brother?

"When they approached me I was in the market. Then I was even more in the market when I heard that the season is VIP season. I said to myself 'Wait, is there a situation you were wrong? Am I a VIP?' I did not understand but I was very flattered and then I was actually looking to figure out what I could get out of this thing, if it was true for me. "I believe I was also able to change the minds of people who thought certain things about me."

You got along very well with Oren Hazan while half the house quarreled with him. How do you explain that?

"I have so little explanation, I can only say that in my character I am very attracted to people in whom I recognize truth, honesty, directness, and I recognized in Oren things very quickly. I made a separation between the character and the person. I knew him through the media, he was portrayed as a provocateur In me because of the difference between our opinions and there will be a carnival around us, but it did not happen. I was exposed to a good, real, honest person, who is not ashamed to say what he has to say. "He, what a good husband he is and what a good son he is. I saw the whole scale of Oren. I had a good flow with him at home. I really like him."

You were also friendly with Titi at the Big Brother house. What is the chance that the friendships between you will hold out?

"I hope it will hold outside as well. It's clear to me that it can not be at the same intensity. Outside there is a world, affairs, she has a relationship, this one is more complex, I hope from time to time there will be some phone."

Launches?

"Maybe she, I'm less. Maybe I'll show up and I'll see her and her partner come to see the show. Wow, that's going to be exciting. I wish it was friendships you would hold."

Who do you think should win and who do you think will win?

"Titi should win and Titi will win."

When they approached me I was in the market.

Jacko (Photo: Screenshot, Screenshot)

What is the chance that your musical comeback this time will be successful?

"There is a chance, for sure. I feel I was given this chance. Until recently it was almost hopeless. Now there is this chance, which I too am accompanied by a lot of faith and desire and I feel it is rewarding can happen. It is rewarding can happen. To contain all this good because there are a lot of good things that come to me and I am just a little man. "

The question is whether it is possible to take all this goodness that is heaped upon it and translate it to the audience.

"I believe so. I see the reactions, the will of the people, they ask me when performances. I believe it will happen."

Finally, apart from a duet with Rami Kleinstein - what other dream do you want to fulfill?

"You're not wrong. A duet with Remy is a dream. I wish such a thing would happen. I would like my songs to go through a playlist in Galgalatz. It's cool that it's moved to a playlist session and passed. It's cool. ".
