Four men were in custody at the Cavaillon (Vaucluse) police station on Wednesday evening after an exchange of gunshots in the middle of the street.
Wednesday around 11 am, in the district of Doctor-Ayme, sadly known for its delinquency problems linked to drug trafficking, while probable drug sellers were setting up their point of sale, a car arrived at high speed.
Several people were on board and at least one fired at the group on foot.
The group on foot responded with heavy weapons, before setting off by car in pursuit of the attackers.
Police intercepted four young people from the attacked group who responded.
According to France Bleu, they are all under 21 years old.
Two come from Marseille, one from Paris, and the fourth is from Cavaillon.
The firefighters took care of a young man injured in the shoulder.
21 years old, he is of Spanish nationality.
He was hospitalized.
A fourth shooting in a few weeks
This is the fourth time in a few weeks that a shooting has occurred in the Docteur-Ayme neighborhood.
