Facebook continues its campaign to copy features from rival Tiktok.

This time it is the For You page - the holy grail that underlies the Chinese social network.

The report comes from a tweet on the Twitter account of Matt Navara, a social media consultant.

The announcement indicates that Facebook plans to add two new tabs at the top of the home page - For You and Explore (identified with Instagram) - that will allow the feed to be tailored to each user's interests, tastes and priorities, similar to Tiktok.

Also, the new tabs are likely to get high prominence, with the goal of making it easier for users to find content and creators they might like - and increase exposure to the most popular posts on the platform.

It is not yet known when the new feature will reach all users, as it is in development.

In the past year, Instagram has pushed Reels, a format that allows users to produce short 30-second videos with different music and effects, similar to what the rival Tiktok app does today.

And no matter if you like it or not, the short videos seem to be here to stay.
