This is how you smash more than NIS 6,000 in less than 12 minutes:

the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was announced less than a month ago, and Samsung has promised that the screen is 80% stronger than the previous generation.

YouTuber JerryRigEverything, known as Zack Nelson, rushed to hand over the device to a series of abuses under extreme conditions in order to test whether the company had kept its promise.

The first stage of the test - an attempt to engrave on the screen at different intensities - ended unfortunate.

The device's internal screen, just like the previous generation, did not survive a Grade 2 scratch - the lowest on the JerryRigEverything test.

It can also be seen that even a nail has managed to incise an ugly mark on the screen.

However, the exterior screen - coated with Gorilla Glass - displayed more impressive durability and survived a grade 5 scratch. Nelson also tested the Galaxy Z Fold 3's ability to handle sea sand.

The result: the grains penetrated into the device, spilled out of the slots of the speakers and the screen was scratched.

In case you forget the device in the back pocket, in every JerryRigEverything video it is customary to check how flexible each device it gets and tries to twist and fold it.

In the present case, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 showed durability and was very hard to impossible to break.

And these were not the only torments suffered by Samsung's folding smartphone.

In the fire test - exposure to an open flame of a lighter for a few seconds - the screen managed to recover quickly, but was left with two ugly yellow spots.

The external screen responded in the same way.

As you may recall, the screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is made of a soft elastic material - a type of hybrid polymer, slightly harder than the previous generation, but still one that "helps" it to fold.

This means that if you are planning to purchase the device you should consider it.
