Singer Miri Mesika announced (Wednesday) that she is positive for the corona virus.

Mesika received the news after doing a home corona test before entering the promo photos of "The X Factor" which will soon air on Network 13. Mesika then came to her house and did another test and also there she was found to be positive for the virus.

Mesika also performed a PCR test, which is a more accurate test, but no answer has yet been received.

Two days ago, "X Factor" judges - Mesika, Aviv Geffen, Ran Danker, Neta Barzilai - released a ticketing video in which they kissed each other in the mouth.

In one of the scenes, Miri Mesika and Neta Barzilai are seen kissing each other on the mouth.

Barzilai's management said that Neta had been tested and found to be negative for the virus.

Network 13 stated: "We do not intend to comment on anyone's health condition, as this is a personal matter. However, for the sake of caution all those who come in contact have passed and are undergoing tests."

About four months ago, it was reported that contrary to the promises of Network 13, Simon Cowell would not come to Israel to participate in the "X Factor" filming.

The network said in a response at the time: "Simon Cowell will not be coming for his own reasons to the X Factor filming that will take place as planned during the summer."

As you may recall, the award went to "The X Factor" for the winner who has so far been in the hands of "The Star" - representing Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Filming for the show is taking place these days and the season is set to air after the holidays.

The program will be moderated by Liron Weizmann.
