A major fire is underway this Friday morning in a factory in Pamiers, in Ariège.
This is the Aubert & Duval factory, the largest private employer in the department, specifies France Bleu.
The fire would have caught early this morning in an acid bath used for stripping engine parts, say our colleagues, and ravages the production building.
The Ariège prefecture indicates that it has set up a crisis unit.
The personnel were immediately evacuated, and no injuries were to be deplored.
"The inhabitants residing within a radius of 200 m around the factory are invited to confine themselves", she indicates.
