Audi confirmed that it will expand its sustainable mobility offer in the country with the arrival of the RS e-tron GT, the

most powerful electric car in its history

manufactured in series.

The electric sports car, which shares structural elements with the Porsche Taycan (also sold in the country), will be presented in our market on

September 20

and will be added to the e-tron 55 quattro and e-tron 55 quattro Sportback SUVs, launched in late 2020.

The Audi RS e-tron GT is a four-door coupe that is five meters long and can accommodate up to five occupants.

It is the top-of-the-range version of the Audi e-tron GT series, which differs by being less powerful.

It measures 4.99 meters wide;

1.96 wide;

and 1.41 high.

Its drag coefficient is only 0.24 Cx.

Electric power

The Audi RS e-tron GT is one of the new members of the ring brand's electric advance, which aims to stop launching new models with combustion engines as of 2026.

It is equipped with two electric motors, one on each axis, which deliver a total power of 600 hp that can be increased to

646 hp

for two seconds

, using the "overboost" function.

For its part, the maximum torque is 830 Nm.

The rear thruster features a two-speed transmission, while the one on the front axle is mated to a fixed-ratio transmission.

The transmission system is integral, with rear limited slip differential and adaptive air suspension system.

Digital dashboard and sports seats.

The Audi RS e-tron GT are can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in

3.3 seconds

and reach a top speed of

250 km / h

(electronically limited).

Its declared autonomy of

487 kilometers

(WLTP)

, thanks to the fact that it has a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 93.4 kWh.

Thanks to its 800 volt electrical system, the battery allows fast charges to 270 kW of power in direct current;

This means that it takes approximately

5 minutes

to charge enough energy to travel 100 kilometers, and about 22.5 minutes to raise the charge from 5% to 80%.

Prices will be defined at the time of presentation.

Just as data it should be remembered that the Audi e-tron 55 is offered from

$ 204,000
