The former Quebec humor mogul Gilbert Rozon, ex-juror of the show "France has an incredible talent," filed a complaint against an actress who accuses him of rape, local media reported on Friday.
Gilbert Rozon, 66, disputes his accusations against Quebec actress Patricia Tulasne and claims 150,000 Canadian dollars (100,000 euros) for damage to his reputation.
The latter was acquitted in December in another case of rape and indecent assault charges.
In April, Patricia Tulasne launched legal proceedings in which she asked Mr. Rozon for $ 1.6 million.
The 62-year-old actress, who has appeared in several films by director Xavier Dolan, claims to have been raped by the producer when she was 35.
She is the spokesperson for "Courageuses", a collective which brings together twenty women who claim to be victims of the former producer between 1982 and 2016, which the latter firmly denies.
This group had taken collective action against Gilbert Rozon, dismissed by the Canadian courts.
Their appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada was then dismissed in the fall.
The founder of the group "Just for Laughs" had left office after the first accusations, in October 2017, in the midst of the #MeToo movement.
