A few months ago it was announced that Disney Plus, the streaming service of the content giant Disney (which now owns brands such as Marvel, Star Wars and more), will start operating in Israel in September.
So September 1 has already passed, but it is clear that the company is indeed in an advanced stage of entering Israel - since Disney is looking for employees for Disney Plus.
At least two jobs that Disney advertises on its job site, disneycareers.com, explicitly state the Disney + brand in the job title, and job title: Tel Aviv.
The company is currently looking for two marketing positions: brand manager and content marketing, and senior manager for marketing performance analysis, in Israel and Greece.

It should be noted that the content giant already has a representative office in Israel, but in other areas - and we do not know for sure whether employees have been specifically recruited specifically for work on Disney Plus.
In its expected entry into Israel with the Disney Plus service, Disney will join Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV, which already operate in Israel and offer content translated into Hebrew for the Israeli audience.
We will also mention that Netflix acquired the broadcasting rights to Israeli works such as Fauda, Stisel and Blackspace, while Apple acquired the broadcasting rights to the "Tehran" series produced by the Public Broadcasting Corporation.
Disney Plus is considered one of the most successful content services in the world, and as of the current quarter the company had 116 million subscribers.
Disney Plus is active in dozens of countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, most Western European countries, India, Japan, Indonesia, Latin America and more.
The hope is that Israel will be included in one of the forthcoming expansion declarations, and no later than the end of 2021.
