Producers of hand-harvested Atlantic sea salt are very concerned.
Until now, the Organic Agriculture (AB) label was not available to them… except by adding organic aromatic herbs.
The European Commission has corrected the situation by extending the scope of the organic rules to salts intended for human consumption and animal feed, because these are
"considered as products close to agriculture"
