There is no doubt that the source of inspiration for the S22 Ultra is the Note series.

Here, too, it is a device with a flat rim, as well as the pen niche in the body of the device can be clearly seen.

The screen is a convex 6.8 screen, and there is no reason to think that it will not be an AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate, similar to the models marketed today.

According to OnLeaks, the dimensions will probably be 163 mm by 78 (77.9 to be exact) mm, and 8.9 mm thick, or 10.5 mm if you include the camera back.

And speaking of the camera frame, contrary to what is common today, the models show that the dedicated lens area is precisely cut to shape instead of a square or large rectangle as a surface as is common in most phones today (including the iPhone 13 released this week).

At the moment this is just a design of a model, but if this is how the lens area will look in reality, then this is a beautiful design change and definitely for the better.

It can also be seen from the models that Samsung will go for a square camera array, and it is clear that one of the sensors is a periscope lens, as we have seen in the ultra-recent devices.

It is not clear whether Samsung will actually stop the Note series, but judging by the models, its big sister, the S series, will probably come very close to it.

We will receive final answers next year, with the official announcement, and not just from the simulation test.
