“We denounce the serious accusations made by the Ministry of the Interior against the Al Qalam association, the AAJM association, managers and imams who officiate there. These Allonnaise associations, as well as their managers have always worked for good and preached Islam in the middle ground ”, declare the associations Al Qalam, AAJM, the managers and the imams of the mosque.
On Wednesday, the Sarthe prefecture announced the closure of the Allonnes mosque, suspected of legitimizing violent actions.
"According to the elements collected, sermons and the activity of this place of worship, frequented by individuals belonging to or close to the radical Islamist movement, legitimize the use of armed jihad, death as a martyr, the commission of acts of terrorism and recourse to violence, hatred and discrimination as well as the establishment of Sharia law ”, explained the prefecture.
This place also houses a Koranic school "welcoming around 110 children in front of whom armed jihad was valued and which therefore constitutes a place of indoctrination", continued the prefecture.

“The Minister of the Interior is illustrated once again in an approach and a policy of posting.
We regret the harm done to the faithful who frequent the mosque and to the Muslim community who find themselves aggrieved and stigmatized, and more generally to the French who may believe themselves in danger because of the false and irresponsible accusations made against us ”, they declare in a joint statement.
"We will judicially challenge the measures and decisions taken against us, and we will keep you informed of the follow-up given by national and international bodies", they assure.
At the end of September, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin announced that he had initiated procedures to close six places of worship and dissolve several associations, all suspected of propagating radical Islamism, located in the Sarthe, in Meurthe-et- Moselle, Côte-d'Or, Rhône or even Gard.
According to Gabriel Attal, "out of 89 places of worship likely to be radicalized, to lead to radicalization, all have been checked: a third have been either closed or suspended".
"In total, more than 650 places frequented by fundamentalists have been closed," he stressed.
