"She annoys me, I'm going to kill her, I'm going to bury her and no one will find her."

These few words pronounced by Cédric Jubillar in front of his mother a month and a half before the disappearance of his wife continue to obsess the investigators.

Ten months after the disappearance of the 33-year-old nurse, her husband was to be heard Friday at the Toulouse courthouse by the two magistrates who indicted him for murder.

This will be the first questioning of suspect No. 1 as an indictment.

Because in February, this 34-year-old plaster painter had been heard as a civil party, by these judges in charge of the investigation since the end of December 2020.

Cédric Jubillar, temporary in the construction sector, denies any involvement in the disappearance of his wife and has filed three appeals in court to demand her release.

He has been detained since June 18 at the Seysses remand center, near Toulouse, in an isolation ward.

"Serious and concordant clues"

“This is the first time that he will be questioned on the merits by the magistrates.

We do not expect much from this hearing.

We expect the questions to be asked in an objective manner, in calm conditions, more suitable than during police custody, ”said his lawyer, Emmanuelle Franck.

For the defenders of Cédric Jubillar, who denounce an "absence of evidence", a "judicial error" looms if justice remains camped on its positions.

For its part, justice puts forward "serious and consistent clues" which, put end to end, led investigators to suspect the husband.

The Toulouse prosecutor had described a "context of very conflictual separation" and indicated that the plaster painter had "very great difficulties, emotional and material, to accept this separation".
