The two men, cousins, left and then returned by car, from which they shot at least five times at a nightclub.

Two men were indicted on Saturday and imprisoned, after shooting at a nightclub in Mathay, in the Doubs, which they had been refused entry and injured a customer, AFP learned this Sunday from the Montbéliard prosecutor's office, thus confirming information from the Republican East and France Bleu.

"It was confirmed that one of the men tried to present a health pass that did not correspond to his identity," said the prosecutor of the Republic of Montbéliard, Ariane Combarel.

Pushed back from the disco on the night of Thursday to Friday, the two men left and then returned a little later by car, from which several shots, at least five, were fired in the direction of the nightclub located in Mathay, south of Montbéliard (Doubs).

A client of the nightclub was hit by shots at the knee according to Est Républicain and France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard.

The bullet, which passed through the front door of the nightclub, hit this young customer in his twenties by ricochet.

"The victim was operated, a provisional ITT of six weeks was issued to him," said the prosecutor.

The two men, probably cousins, were first arrested by the security guards of the establishment, who then handed them over to the gendarmerie.

First placed in police custody, the judge of freedoms and detention followed the requisitions of the prosecution by placing, on Saturday evening, the two suspects in pre-trial detention pending trial in December.
