This is already the third CEO to be replaced by the Zappa Group within two years. Moshe Halevi, who was the CEO of Zappa until December 2019, was replaced this month by Shai Butzer, and Calcalist reported that this was due to disagreements between him and owner Golan Einat.
In May 2020, Shai Butzer ended his position at the end of only five months, and it was announced that this was in light of the group's financial difficulties following the spread of the corona.
