These days I am really starting my second year in Tel Aviv.
My partner and I were looking for the most suitable vacuum cleaner for our home.
After several attempts with different appliances, I thought about the possibility of finding one appliance with which we could also clean up after all the dirt that our extra hairy cat leaves around the house, and also wash the floor in the same operation.

In the last two weeks I have been privileged to use the new cordless vacuum cleaner from the Chinese brand Jimmy the HW8 Pro and I can say that it is a pretty special product but with some drawbacks that can make or break the product for different types of people.

The HW8 Pro is a regular vacuum cleaner, which means that the smart vacuum cleaner is intended to be the final solution when it comes to cleaning the house.
On the body of the vacuum cleaner we can find the rather large garbage container, and the rinsing container containing water and detergent.
There are two buttons on the handle of the vacuum cleaner, the mode button - with which we can switch between the two pumping modes - and the power button, but another button that is the highlight of the vacuum cleaner is the spray trigger.
With the help of squeezing the spray trigger, the vacuum cleaner squirts a stream of water at a fairly wide angle, so that instead of just pumping like any standard cordless vacuum cleaner, we can literally wash entire floors.
In the packaging of the device we will be able to find the vacuum cleaner, two heads for pumping and wiping, the charging station of the device, a vial of half a liter detergent, a small cleaning device, and the battery of the vacuum cleaner.

Despite some drawbacks, this is an excellent vacuum cleaner
After connecting all the parts of the vacuum cleaner I noticed that it is a fairly large device and even a little heavy. Lifting the HW8 Pro to certain places can be a bit difficult for some people, and it is not the most "mobile" device compared to other cordless vacuum cleaners that boast their light weight and ability to disassemble them into different sizes for different tasks.
In fact, it can even be said that the body of the device built as one and strong piece signals two things to us, it is a powerful device that will withstand even small blows here and there, but it is also a device with which we can not reach the smallest places like our room, or small holes. And it has to be said, that I would not recommend using it to vacuum the sofa or the rest of the home furniture as can be done with some of the competing vacuum cleaners.
Still, and despite everything, I fell in love with the device. In the end, all the other things I mentioned above are very important, and for people who want the best, it might be worthwhile for them to look at a higher price category and look for the perfect vacuum that will meet all their needs, but for me, this vacuum cleaner is all I could ask for.
As I mentioned above, besides me and my partner, another chubby little tenant walks around, scattering a huge trail of hair, grains of sand, more remnants of dirt she brings from the porch, and sometimes even surprises for parents (cat owners can assume what I'm talking about), And the HW8 Pro just takes the all-in.
With the help of the device I can in five minutes cover all the dirt without any problem or real effort of the device in one quick turn, and without noticing in that turn the floor is already washed! So that it is not only clean of dirt but also washed and looks great.
It is important to note that also in terms of carpet cleaning, also the name of the HW8 pro delivers the goods and did not really have a problem with grains and dirt of any kind. The only noticeable drawback to the device is its cleaning process.
Because it is a regular vacuum cleaner, the device collects all types of dirt in one container, which contains both liquids and the physical dirt absorbed by the vacuum cleaner.
When we want to empty the garbage can, we disconnect it from the vacuum cleaner, and in front of us is a particularly unpleasant spectacle, which includes four different parts we have to dismantle when in each we are "treasures" that are not easy to take out and throw away.
After cleaning all the dirt from the garbage can, we have to put the vacuum cleaner in its charging station, and turn on its self-cleaning mode, which takes about 6 minutes of self-spraying water with which the device cleans the vacuum cleaner head three times in a row to keep it clean and fit for a long time. .
Overall I think it is a rather cumbersome and even quite disgusting process to say the least, which takes some of the lightness and fun we get from using the device while pumping. On the battery life side, the device provided about 35 minutes of work, and actually capable of longer battery life.
Bottom line
Jimmy's new vacuum cleaner is a great solution for people who want to vacuum the house and wash it in the same operation.
It is a vacuum cleaner that has no difficulty at all with different types of dirt, whether it is liquids or solid dirt, and its battery life quite satisfies the goods.
The cleaning process of the vacuum cleaner slightly detracts from the experience of using the device, but at a recommended price for a consumer of about NIS 1,699, it is an excellent product that is totally worth the price.
