"The Undertaker" is the best series of the 21st century to date, according to a poll conducted by the BBC among 206 critics, journalists, experts and industry figures from around the world. Among the ranks are also four Israelis, including a Walla Tarbut man, Ido Yeshayahu.
HBO's 'covert' crime drama aired between 2002 and 2008 and each season featured a different crime case, which was investigated by a special, low - cost Baltimore police investigation team. Through the cases, the series dismantled the institutions in charge of law enforcement, including the police, the municipality and the press. Equally important: "The Undertaker" featured some memorable characters, most notably the drug dealer Robber Omar Little, played by Michael K. Williams, who recently passed away. Among others, Michael B. Jordan ("The Black Panther", "Creed"), Idris Alba ("Luther", "Fast and Furious: Hobbes and the Show") and Dominic West ("The Novel", "The Crown") broke out in the series.

According to the BBC, about half of all those ranked in the poll chose "covert", and almost a quarter of them placed it in their first place. Its competition was simpler in the face of voting guidelines: these are only series that began in the 21st century, so The Sopranos, a series that regularly competes for the world title, is absent since it began in January 1999. In addition, series that won additional versions in other countries were rated only According to the source. Thus the British "office" occupied the ninth place, but in fact also embodies the American "office", which is not on the list. This is also the reason why you will not find "Survival" in the parade, for example, whose popular American version did indeed come up in 2001, but is based on a Swedish format that began in 1997.
460 series were rated by the various critics, including 100 women, 104 men and two non-binary, who came from 43 countries. Each of the ranks selected and rated ten series from the best to his taste to the tenth in nature. These are the twenty great series of the 21st century according to the survey:
