Marseille: a man shoots his hospitalized wife before committing suicide

A letter found

The 69-year-old woman was terminally ill with Charcot's disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, an incurable disease that causes progressive degeneration of neurons and leads to paralysis and death.

According to a police source, a suicide note was found in the hospital room.
