An 18-year-old young man died Monday in a slaughterhouse in Lanfains (Côtes-d'Armor) after being found for an as yet undetermined reason under a half-ton box containing poultry, said Monday the firefighters and the gendarmerie.
At around 10:45 am, at the LDC Bretagne slaughterhouses, “a man found himself under a box where poultry weighing 500 kg is stored.
When we arrived, the box was removed, ”said the Côtes-d'Armor firefighters.
“The victim was in cardio ventilatory arrest.
The Smur and the firefighters tried in vain to revive him, ”added this source.
