A motorist was hit this Saturday noon by a projectile while driving on the national 137 between Nantes and Rennes, reports Ouest-France.
The driver, a 67-year-old man, was driving on the four-way road near Laillé (Ille-et-Vilaine) at around 12:45 p.m., when he was hit in the neck by a projectile from the right of the vehicle.
The 60-year-old managed to park and call for help, despite his serious injury.
Hunters interviewed
Still according to Ouest-France, the victim was transported to the Rennes University Hospital, in absolute urgency.
Its vital prognosis is engaged.
Beside him was a passenger, who was not hit by the projectile.
In shock, he was taken care of by the emergency services.
An investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the accident.
In the afternoon, hunters who were near the place were questioned by the gendarmes.
