“I have the head (of the newborn, editor's note) in my hands.

He went out !

He went out !

», He repeats to the firefighter who proceeds to trigger his colleagues in the nearest barracks.

Despite the late night hour, the operator will bounce back very quickly.

"Is he completely out?"

He asks, knowing the complications and risks involved in a birth.

Except that the newborn does not seem to breathe on its own.

"You rub his back, is he crying?"

Asks the firefighter on the other end of the phone.

The father's response worries.

"Not yet," he retorts, his voice uneasy.

The operator of the 18 will then dictate from a distance the behavior to be taken to the young father.

"It's great, I hear him, he's crying!"

"

"You put his head in your hand, turn him face down on your hand and rub his back a bit okay?"

», He continues.

The father seems to understand what is going on.

We can tell his concern in his voice.

A handful of seconds pass, we hear the breathing of the parents.

They seem endless.

"There is something blocking his (respiratory) path," relies the father.

The rescuer invites him to slide his finger into the baby's mouth and "try to suck what is in his nostrils".

Before believing in a deliverance that will come only a handful of seconds later.

"I hear him, is he the one crying?"

», Tries to convince himself the rescuer.

"No no, he sucks there", finally retorts the very young mother.

As the firefighter repeats the instructions, he is interrupted by screams.

"It's great, I hear him, he's crying!"

It's brilliant… ”, relishes the rescuer, also tense.

With this couple by phone, they have just saved this newborn baby.

After some final advice on keeping the baby warm while waiting for the arrival of these colleagues, the firefighter can be heard congratulating the young parents and the heroic father.

They will be evacuated in good health to a hospital.
