At least eight people were killed and several others injured during a crowd movement Friday night at the Astroworld music festival in Houston, in the southern United States, local authorities and US media reported.
“We have at least eight confirmed deaths tonight and several injured,” said Houston Fire Chief Samuel Pena.

“The crowd started to rush to the front of the stage.
This created a start of panic which caused injuries, ”he said.
