Isra-Drama

About 200 theater and festival directors from 40 countries around the world will participate in Isra-Drama: International Exposure to the 2021 Theater, which will be broadcast live from the Mandel Cultural Center in Tel Aviv-Yafo.

The event, which will open on November 17 and last for three days, will be attended by Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, writers AB Yehoshua, Philip Besson and Noa Yadlin, Habima CEO Noam Semel and many more. To stage Israeli plays around the world and promote collaborations between cultures. The event, founded at the initiative of the Hanoch Levin Institute for Israeli Plays, is a catalyst for staging original plays in major theaters abroad.

The International Film Festival is proud

The International Pride Film Festival will open tonight when the Israeli film "Two" by director Esther Elkayam will be screened, bringing the complex journey of a couple of women trying to have a child.

The festival will screen 150 films from Israel and the world, as well as panels, traditional drag competitions and cinematic events.

The thin soldier

The acting studio founded by Yoram Levinstein brings up "The Lean Soldier", one of the last plays by the one-time genius Hanoch Levin, which he defines as a "tragic-comic-absurd legend".

The show takes place entirely inside a pool of water built especially for the show.

The Suzanne Dellal Center launches first original production, world premiere by Inbal Pinto - The Living Room.

The cellist and singer Maya Belzitzman is responsible for the music.

Distortion

Michael Rochberger, who is considered one of the oldest critics of rock music in Israel in the 1980s and 1990s, is putting on an exhibition at the Ashdod Museum called "Distortion," which ranges from painting, photography, music and writing.

The exhibition is curated by Yael Katz Ben-Shalom.

At the same time, two more exhibitions will open in the main museum space: a solo exhibition by photographer Tomer Kapp and a group exhibition of five photographers curated by photographer Anna Yam.

In addition, a fifth exhibition in a series of exhibitions from Israel Makov's art collection will open at the collection's gallery.
