Lawyers for Ole Kravchenko - known as the Tair Rada assassination case - today (Thursday) sent a letter to the chairman of the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council and the Minister of Communications, demanding the removal of the fourth episode of the available "Shadow of Truth" documentary series To watch HOTVOD.
Attorneys Amir Titonovich and Efrat Azulai wrote that in the fourth episode of the series, Ola was presented to the public "as a serial and sadistic murderer, who in fact even murdered the late Tair." Several months ago, the State Attorney's Office decided to close the investigation file due to lack of guilt. Thus, after a thorough and lengthy investigation and clarification, it became clear that our network is not the killer of the late Tair. Its creators and producers make a huge financial profit.
It is further written that the fourth chapter inflicted on Ola "heavy damage, to the point of ruining her life literally and he continues to inflict damage on her, some of which are irreparable."

The lawyers added that "Directive 9A (b) of the Broadcasting Rules prohibits a franchisee from including in a documentary a drama segments that may harm the good name of individuals, or incite against them, unless it is proven that the segments are based on true facts and that there are "Interest to the public (...). It can not be disputed that the fourth chapter contains very many passages that harm the good name of our network."
It is further written that this chapter should not be recognized as "source production" because it does not comply with the rules.
The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council said: "The letter was received by the council and its contents will be checked soon."
"HOT8" reported: "HOT8 is proud of its content and will respond to the council if and when a request is received on the subject."
