According to the regional daily, this same vehicle was then found in a wasteland in Marseille, without anyone inside and the chest spotted with blood.
Circumstances which suggest the worst, as they evoke recent brawls and settling of scores against a background of drug trafficking in the second city of France, plagued by banditry.
Multiple violence linked to drug trafficking in Marseille
Sad example among many others, three men were found dead at the end of last August against a backdrop of the fight for the territories of drug trafficking.
The first two were riddled with bullets, while the third was first removed and also placed in the trunk of a car, before being found charred by investigators.
