Mental health: detention can be a parenthesis for healing

In some prisons, inmates benefit from conditions they have never experienced outside and which allow them to finally begin therapy thanks to an individualization of the detention.


The over-representation of psychiatric pathologies and mental disorders in the prison population has long been established.

Are the living conditions in detention the cause of these diseases?
