A nine-year-old boy caught in the deadly crowd movement at the Astroworld Nov. 5 festival in Texas succumbed to his injuries, becoming the tenth victim of the tragedy, a victims' lawyer said on Sunday.
"This should not have been the outcome of a concert outing with their son, supposed to be a moment of joy," wrote Ben Crump, representative of the families, announcing the death of Ezra Blount, who had been placed in an induced coma and was between life and death.
The child was attending the concert of American rapper Travis Scott, like around 50,000 people, when a crowd movement left several dead and injured hundreds more.
On November 12, the human toll had already increased to nine dead, after the death of a woman hospitalized for nearly a week in a hospital in the Texan metropolis.
