19,749 new cases, 15 dead in 24 hours
The daily number of cases has almost doubled in one week, reaching 19,749 this Sunday against 9,548, according to the report of Public Health France published today.
In addition, fifteen people have died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours and 691 are in critical care, including 489 in intensive care.

The positivity rate is 4.7%, and 51,713,486 French people have received a first dose of vaccines.
Since yesterday, 5,801 first doses have been administered, as well as 117,821 booster doses.

Violence breaks out in Guadeloupe
The night from Saturday to Sunday remained agitated in Guadeloupe.

Clashes erupted on Sunday during a demonstration against new anti-Covid measures in Brussels, where 35,000 protests took part in the rally, according to police.

Second night of scuffles in the Netherlands
Dutch police said on Sunday that they had arrested 19 people after a second night of violent protests against the latest government health measures.
After the chaos in Rotterdam on Friday, it was in The Hague that clashes broke out on Saturday evening, in a working-class area of the city where the Dutch government sits.
Police in riot gear charged groups of protesters against the sanitary restrictions, who threw stones at them.
Five police officers were injured in the clashes.
