Health Minister Olivier Véran announced Thursday that the vaccine booster will soon be open to all adults, from the fifth month following the previous dose, against six months previously.
An announcement that follows the opinion of the High Authority of Health (HAS), published Thursday evening, recommending the vaccination booster from the age of 18, five months after the complete vaccination.
One way to counter the proven decline in vaccine effectiveness after a few months, while France is facing the fifth epidemic wave.
