Colmobil, a Mitsubishi importer to Israel, begins marketing the Eclipse Course - its crossover-coupe designed in a facelifted version, about a year after it was introduced to the world.

Exterior handles the facelift on the front which becomes very dramatic, with the narrow lighting units and chrome trim that have become a design feature in Mitsubishi cars.

The rear is also redesigned, but with smaller differences than those made at the front.

The design changes also extended it by 14 cm to 455 cm, but there is no change in the wheelbase that remains 267 cm. (Depending on the backrest angle at the rear).

The entry-level version is called Intense and includes a multimedia system with a 9-inch (7-inch previously) threshold and has Apple and Android connectivity and built-in WAZE, climate control and more. The price of this version is NIS 155,000 (149 in the past).

The second level of finish is the Executive which adds an electric handbrake, folding side mirrors with signal, split climate control, full LED lighting, keyless entry and propulsion and more. Price: NIS 160,000.

The level of the Panoramic finish is the same in terms of equipment and adds a panoramic roof that opens at NIS 171,000.

The Instyle finish level will come with leather-like seats, heated front seats and electric direction for the driver’s seat.

Price: NIS 172,000 (price increase of NIS 10,000).

When it comes to safety systems, in the base version it offers a modest package that includes automatic braking, only lane departure warning and automatic light control.

In order to get the more comprehensive safety package one has to upgrade to the higher finish levels.

There it features an improved automatic braking system that uses a camera, radar and radar with better detection range.

Adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic warning from behind and vehicle identification in "dead zone".

But even here, as in Outlander, it is not possible to get a lane departure correction, just a warning.

The first tools of the Eclipse Cross will arrive only in the first quarter of 2022, as in the past, it will compete at the seam between tools like Toyota CHR in its high finish levels and more expensive tools like Mazda CX5 or Nissan Qashqai.

During the year, the plug-in hybrid versions will also join, the price of which may be more attractive in light of the continued tax benefit on plug-in cars.
