Covid-19: 47,000 new cases in 24 hours, more than 10,000 hospitalized patients

The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced on Tuesday, November 30 that around 47,000 new cases have been detected in the last 24 hours.

1,824 patients are treated in critical care services, including 271 in the past 24 hours.

Public Health France also counts 114 deaths in 24 hours.

A first positive case for the Omicron variant was also detected in France, on the island of Reunion.

The Minister of Health, however, warned the French, stressing that it could quickly increase:

"Other cases could be identified in the coming hours, I will obviously keep the French informed,"

promised Olivier Véran.
