A high of 452.4 was reached on Monday, the value was 452.2 on Tuesday and 442.9 on Wednesday.
In the previous month the value was 154.5.
The health authorities in Germany reported
73,209 new corona infections to
the RKI within one day
.
This is evident from the numbers that reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 3:51 a.m.
Exactly one week ago there were 75,961 infections.
When evaluating the infection rate, however, it should be borne in mind that experts are currently assuming a noticeable underreporting.
Health authorities and clinics can no longer keep up with reporting cases, at least in individual regions.
According to the new information,

Germany within 24 hours

A week ago there were 351 deaths.
The RKI has counted 5,977,208 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not recognized.
The number of
corona patients admitted to clinics
per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was given by the RKI on Wednesday as
5.61
(Tuesday: with 5.73).
The value plays an essential role in assessing the occurrence of the infection.
If limit values 3, 6 and 9 are exceeded in the federal states, stricter measures to combat the pandemic can be imposed there.
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered on Thursday at 4,979,700.
The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 102,178.
Urgent consultations with the federal states are pending
Today, the Prime Ministers are discussing a comprehensive package of measures against the virus in a switching conference with Executive Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and Chancellor-designate Olaf Scholz (SPD).
The Rhineland-Palatinate Prime Minister Malu Dreyer told the editorial network Germany beforehand that the pandemic would hit all of Germany hard.
"That is why it is important, in an act of national solidarity, to work together to ensure that the number of infections falls and that the burden on our entire health system is relieved."
