Much more than a sports competition, "Ninja Israel" (Keshet 12) is part of the money and advertising machine.

A small remark by Rotem Sela made it clear directly, without all the nonsense: beyond a person, there is a television persona, and beyond it - there is a campaign

Everyone wants a buzzer.

In the endless barbarism that accompanies "Ninja Israel" (Rainbow 12) into its fourth season, there are not many surprises and there is very little to get excited about.

Everyone is in suspense, everyone wants a buzzer, everyone comes to prove something.

Yes, Asi, yes, Rotem, they are moving to you, Raska, what do you think, Jordan?

who would believe.

In these mountains of empty words, puzzling moments sometimes develop, such as the one in which viewers were promised that if there was a "buzzer," Jordan Jerby would demonstrate a judo choke on Niv Raskin.

There was no buzzer, but maybe this event demonstrates how far this game is from sports and sports culture really, and how much it makes these things a joke.

The mountains of words try to equate this stupid competition with a sporting meaning, as if valued, healthy, but sometimes television reveals its subtext openly and mentions that it is first and foremost part of a conservative industry that pursues profits.

"A little full."

This is what happened in the preliminary interview of one of the contestants with Asi Ezer and Rotem Sela.

"We may have a small fill," Ezer said.

Shamla is the prominent contender of the program in Israel, but for the two, this title also signifies other things.

"I tell you that what I perceive is that there is an atmosphere of a more gnarled man here, on the dangerous side even," Rotem Sela replied.

"Here I recognize a man who can totally be a motorcycle fan, or a beer, of drills. A full one can not say to be a motorcycle fan."

Shamla, a good boy like Jerusalem, who advertises milk from oats, is not enough for Sparta.

Advertising machine.

But that's not the point.

Much more than a sports competition, "Ninja Israel" is part of the money and advertising machine.

Rotem Sela's quote makes this clear, without all the nonsense: beyond a person, there is a television persona, and beyond it - there is a campaign.

This is the endgame, the real mountain of mediorama, and the only one that matters in Israeli reality in 2021.

"Ninja Israel" is no different in this lust even a little.

The objectification and commercialization are perfect: the person has a body left, the body has a potential advertisement left.

What matters is the possible campaign, the money rolling on the floor.

The entire Ninja Israel competition is nothing but an audition for the next man who will sell you a beer or a motorcycle.

And that everything else will fall into the water already at the stepper stage.
