Apple's advertisement (Apple)

Disturbing or brilliant?

Apple wants you to know that buying your smartwatch can be a matter of life and death - and a new commercial presents this feeling in a brilliant and terrifying way at the same time, under the headline "911" (the emergency number phone number in the US).

The short video, 60 seconds long Alone, reveals recordings of the National Emergency Center with three people - Jason, Jim and Amanda - as they are between life and death, and in fact their lives were saved thanks to a 911 dial via Dark Watch.

Amanda, for example, talks to the rescue center while her plan fills up with water after a car accident.

In the second call, Jason, a surfer, is heard drifting into the middle of the sea following a strong wind.

In the last call, James tells the call center that he has broken his leg and he needs help urgently.

Each of them has a happy ending, when at the end Apple says that "with the help of their smartwatch, Jason, Jim and Amanda were saved in minutes."

But the basic message is more cruel:

Apple actually says that if they did not have its wondrous product on their wrist, they could have died, alone in the face of death, and without the ability to call for help.
