Mercedes EQS: Luxury and trams
Mercedes' electric luxury car takes two titles in two categories - the safest luxury cars and the safest electric car.
In the adult protection sections Mercedes has a score of 96, in child protection 91, in pedestrian protection it gets 76 and in its safety systems with a score of 80. Precisely in the last section the expectation was for a higher score given the system shell of this car, one of the most comprehensive in the industry.
What does it include?
Take air: from 12 peripheral sensors, 4 side cameras, front camera, 4 short-range radars, ladder, long-range radar, rear camera and even a humidity sensor that updates the car systems that the road is wet.
The runner-up of the EQS in both categories is the Polstar 2, the crossover of Volvo's electric brand.

Yaris Cross: Small crossovers
The Hyaris Cross is classified in Euro NCAP tests as a small MPV.
There she records the highest scores in her group that give her the title of senior choice in her group.
In Israel, it is marketed with the same advanced safety package with which it was tested in the crash tests.
Its scores are 91 percent in adult protection and the same score in child protection, 70 percent in pedestrian protection and particularly impressive are the advanced safety systems that record a score of 95 percent.
In second place in its group is the Volkswagen Caddy, which in its new generation is squinting into the worlds of passengers apart from its usual association as a tandem.

Skoda Aniac: A great SUV
Skoda's first dedicated electric car impresses the Euro NCAP organization in its crash tests already at the model's debut.
The Skoda Aniak we tested here for the first time in the comparative test of the electric crossovers does so mainly thanks to a very high score in the field of adult protection.
In this section he gets 94 per cent, while in child protection he is with 89 per cent, 71 per cent in pedestrian protection and 82 per cent in the functioning of advanced safety systems.
In second place and quite close to it is the electric flagship of the BMW iX.

Nissan Qashqai: Small SUV
The new Qashqai impressed us greatly in the Israeli debut test we conducted for him.
The huge improvement over the first generation in terms of ride comfort, cabin and performance were outstanding.
But he also excels in another place - the crash tests.
He not only records very high scores in adult and child protection, in which he wins 91 percent.
He is also fine in protecting pedestrians with 70 percent.
But those who steal the show are the advanced safety systems that have recorded excellent performance in Euro NCAP tests and give it a score of 95, not a common sight in popular brands.

Skoda Fabia: Super Mini
We have known for years that when it comes to safety, size does not determine, but how the car is built and designed.
The Skoda Fabia is another example of this.
And although its specific safety scores are not particularly high it stands out in its category mainly because the organization has not even found it appropriate to indicate who its deputy is due to the gap between it and the competition.
Although it should be noted that the organization includes in the ranking only cars presented this year, and here the super mini category has not seen significant entries.
The scores are less impressive compared to the other cars on this list.
85 percent in adult protection and 81 percent in child protection.
In the pedestrian section it gets a score of 70 and in the functioning of the safety systems only 71 percent.
However these were still enough to score 5 stars in her final score.
