Nearly two years after the latest issue of Playboy magazine was published, the adult content group has launched a new interactive platform called Centerfold.
This is a venture that actually competes with the British site Onlyfans, a kind of ticking for adults if you will, in which creators (mostly creators ...) offer exclusive content, some sexual but not only, for a monthly fee from subscribers (or "fans", as the site calls them) .

Onlyfans, launched about five years ago, is considered a dizzying success, albeit controversial, and is expected to bring in profits of about $ 2.5 billion this year (2022).
Now, as mentioned, Playboy is also invading the field with Centerfold, which, according to the company, is defined as "a platform for creative freedom, artistic expression and positive sex," and serves as "the next evolutionary step where culture and sex meet."

For the purpose of setting up the venture, Playboy has recruited a long line of well-known stars and stars (mostly female stars ...) who maintain millions of fans and followers on social networks, and are defined as the "founding team" of Centerfold.
At the top of the list is rapper Cardi B, who serves as the service's artistic director, alongside other names like network anchor (and former Playboy model) Amanda Sereni and proud sex icon Keegan Wicker.

However, one of the surprising characters on the list is the streamer-gamer-provocative Caitlin "Amouranth" Cyrus, who makes sure to star in a new media scandal almost every week (the last time we checked, her account was blocked from the dance game Just Dance 2022, and to the best of our knowledge, she is still Blocked on Instagram).
Amornet's maintains about 5 million followers in the streaming service for twitter gamers, but the twist in the plot is that both Cardi B and Amornet 'run very successful accounts on Onlyfans, and it is not yet known if they will close them because of the defection.

However, the provocative content that Centerfold is expected to offer to its voyeuristic subscribers is just the beginning, as Playboy is also plotting to ride the NFT wave, and likely sell "original" digital images at unimaginable prices.
