As more competitors join the electric arena, the ZS remains the pioneer of electric crossovers with a non-optimal response to market offerings.
Now joins two new versions that come to put things in order and bring it back into the picture and perhaps also to its status as a local electric success as it was in its early years.
The new versions come with the facelift that the model underwent along with the other models of the manufacturer we have already told you about, including their estimated arrival times.
Externally the main noticeable difference is the design of the front which is now significantly different from that of the petrol models in the replacement of the grille with an airtight panel and the transfer of the charging socket from the center next to the emblem.
The lighting units consist of 21 LED bulbs and also the bumper itself in a more sporty look.

New multimedia system (Photo: Manufacturer's website)
In the cabin the quality of materials has been improved including the use of leather-like upholstery for seats that have improved their body support, the dashboard has been replaced with 12.3-inch digital, and the multimedia system that was one of the model's weaknesses is brand new.
The addition of insulation materials to the chassis and acoustic cladding for the electric motor should also improve noise insulation while driving.
The outgoing generation's long equipment list is maintained and adds a number of additional safety systems such as 4 surround cameras and preventing lane crossing in vehicle identification in "dead space".
These are in addition to adaptive cruise control, correction of deviation from the lane, detection of traffic signs, automatic braking, cross-traffic warning and more.
More range in all versions (Photo: Manufacturer's website)
The more significant change the model undergoes is in its propulsion systems.
It will now be offered with two packages. The first battery is 50.3 kWh and the second 69.9 kWh (45.6 kWh in the past). The smaller battery provides a declared range of 320 km (263 km in the past) and the larger battery up The range to 440 km.
Between the two batteries there is not only a difference in range but also in power.
While in the smaller one the engine will provide 177 hp and in the larger 156 hp.
In both cases the torque is 28.5 kg (compared to 36.4 kg in the past).
The performance between the two models is 8.6 seconds per 100 and 175 km / h maximum (8.2 seconds and 140 km / h in the past).

Another difference between the battery packs is in their type of internal charger.
The one with the smaller batteries is equipped with a single-phase charger in which the charging will take longer from an empty state to fill about 8.5 hours.
The version with the larger battery is equipped with a three-phase charger that allows charging from an empty state to fill in 7.5 hours.
Both versions support fast charge (DC) and will bring the car from 30 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
Another innovation in the model is the possibility to charge and operate additional external appliances such as camping lighting or charging electric bicycles for riders in the field, for example.

As before, the treatment interval for ZS is 24,000 km or a year and with a warranty for 5 years or 150,000 km for a car and 8 years or 150,000 km for batteries. As part of the purchase package, a home charging and installation stand is also included. Basic and trade-in benefits or an interest-free loan and linkage of up to NIS 100,000.
The prices for the new model are NIS 144,444,000 for the 50.3 kWh version - the same as the price of the previous version, while the 69.9 kWh version will cost NIS 148,888. These range are prices that put it in a more competitive position than before in front of the electric Hyundai Kona and in front of its new competitor the Geely Geometric C (although the latter is smaller than it and does not have the 5-star crash rating that MG
has ).
However, the first cars for test drives and dedication will be here only this coming March, so we will also test its actual performance.
