A 22-year-old young man succumbed to his injuries on Monday evening at Meaux hospital (Seine-et-Marne) after a possible settlement of accounts linked to drug trafficking, police sources reported on Tuesday to AFP .
"At around 10:45 p.m., the Meaux hospital emergency department called 17 for two individuals with stab wounds," a police source told AFP.

With "multiple stab wounds and possibly a gun", one of the two victims died on the operating table around 11:25 pm.

The days of the other assaulted young man are not in danger.
