Since Zohar returned from the hut, for what appears to be a third season of Survival starring him, we once again have to deal with the embarrassing moments in which he tries to convince himself, us, and the reality that he is a sophisticated survival actor. He does this by all sorts of strategy talks in which he tries to persuade those in the alliance that works, to return to the alliance that barely existed. Even the ridiculous name he insists on returning to jargon even though he did not catch on - "Central Station Kids" - sounds musty. It reminds me of the feeling I had when I read The Catcher in the Rye Field as an adult and I was by no means able to figure out which part of this book I once connected with. Zohar simply refuses to let go.
The conversations he conducts are even more angular.
For him, he is a manipulative fox who convinces with great sophistication and presses emotional buttons, but in practice they are miserable pleading conversations that can be summed up in the words "Come on, it's hard! Let's be a bunch again!".
Each of his performances is his own deja vu trying to shake off the failure through grandiose illusions fueled by Shakespearean speeches he once memorized, and for some reason think are made into a mysterious and powerful character, but in fact only emphasize his detachment from gameplay reality.
