Stage legend Lia Koenig was infected in Corona - it was learned today (Monday).

All plays at the Habima Theater with the participation of 92-year-old Koenig, one of Israel's most senior and beloved theater actresses, have been canceled.

The virus also affected other plays at the National Theater.

Yesterday it was reported that the actress and bride of the Israel Prize, Gila Almagor, 82, was also positive for Corona, as was the actress Osnat Fishman.

Therefore, rehearsals for the play "The Avengers" written by Hillel Mittelpunkt, in which they are expected to star, were stopped.

The theater said rehearsals would resume soon and that the actresses were "feeling fine," and the rise of the play, originally scheduled for Feb. 4, was postponed to the end of February.
