In the Netherlands, a mechanic is said to have taken a Ferrari Enzo for a test drive.
With dramatic consequences for the sports car.
Baarn – For many car fans, Ferrari is the ultimate when it comes to sports cars.
Accordingly, the cars from Maranello are in great demand.
But if you want to drive a Ferrari, you also need luck, because these are usually strictly limited - including the Enzo.
Between 2002 and 2004 Ferrari built only 400 copies, that was 51 more than originally planned.
But one of these rare and sought-after vehicles could now have been on the road for the last time in the Netherlands, as 24auto.de reports.

The reason: The Ferrari Enzo was severely damaged in a crash on the N221.
According to media reports, the sports car – whose value is around three million euros – was apparently owned by a dealer.
This is suggested by the green number plates that are used as dealer numbers in the Netherlands.

The exact course of the accident was initially a mystery.
However, a reader of the portal "autoblog.nl" witnessed the accident and explained what happened: "On the Amsterdamsestraatweg he accelerated a lot, then lost control and spun into a tree in the oncoming lane.
He flew through the air and landed hard." (Brand new Ferrari 488 Pista: Driver creates strange crash - "It's going to be expensive")
However, it is questionable whether the Ferrari Enzo can be repaired again.
Pictures from the scene of the accident show severe damage on the passenger side.
The front light is also missing there.
But the rear was also badly affected.
A recording also shows that the driver's airbag has opened.
It is therefore to be feared that it is a total loss.
