Grammy-winning American singer Mitt Luff, whose album Bat Out of Hell is one of the best-selling ever, and the actor who starred in the film "Rocky's Movie Show" died at the age of 74.



Mitt Luff, whose real name is Michael Lee Eddie, passed away Thursday night With his wife speaking alongside him, his veteran agent, Michael Green, told Deadline Hollywood on behalf of the family, adding that the singer's daughters and friends also had the opportunity to say goodbye to him over the past 24 hours.

The cause of death was not released.



Mitt Loof's 1977 album Bat Out of Hell, written and produced by Jim Steinman, is one of the 35 best-selling albums in the history of the United States, and has sold 14 million copies to date.

Among the hits included in it are "Two of Three Ain't Bad" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".

Mitt Loof and Steinman reunited in 1993 for a follow-up album, Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, which was also a huge success and sold over five million copies in the United States alone. The lead single from it, I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That), stayed five weeks at number one in late 1993 and became the singer's biggest hit. It also won a high rotation on the local MTV channel, with an epic clip kissing for 8 minutes. In all his albums and songs Mitt Luff has sold over 80 million copies worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists ever.



In addition to his singing career, and even before the big break in the field, Mitt Luff was known as an actor. In 1975 he played Eddie in the cult film "The Rocky Movie Show" (and also on the Broadway stages before that), and has since consistently starred in dozens of films and series, including "Fight Club" (1999) and "Spice World" and the "South Park" series , "House", "Gali "and" Monk ".
