Anyone who has hitherto pondered the transition between Android and iPhone has realized that there is no safe and convenient way to pass on their WhatsApp chat history.
Now, the official solution seems to be another moment here:
Wabetainfo released a photo over the weekend from version 22.2.74 of the app, which shows the process of transferring messages from Android to iPhone.
In the meantime, it is not clear how the information will pass between the various operating systems, but according to previous publications it seems that in order to do so, one has to be equipped with a cable with USB-C on one side and a Lightning connection on the other.
As you may recall, last August Samsung updated the Smart Switch app so that it will also be possible to import the messages from WhatsApp via cable as well.

Important to mention:
This is a very significant innovation, because if you wanted to transfer your WhatsApp from Android to iPhone, you would have to part with the content, and start from scratch.
Meanwhile, Wabetainfo has not released information on the release date of the new feature outside of the beta
