A video is making a name for itself on the internet: it shows a multi-millionaire speeding down the autobahn in his Bugatti at record speeds – he reaches over 400 km/h.

Now the police are investigating.

The multi-millionaire is a fan of expensive PS cars – which he also lives out on the freeway from time to time.

Because he recently published a new YouTube video in which he drives out his Bugatti Chiron*.

On a section of the

, it reaches a top speed of 417 km/h.

The video had already been viewed by 3.6 million users (as of January 18).

On Monday (January 24), the police launched investigations into a suspected illegal street race, said a spokeswoman in Magdeburg, as reported by the German Press Agency (dpa).

The public prosecutor's office will examine the case, it said (as of January 24).

According to the Criminal Code, as dpa basically describes, a so-called solo race is also punishable if the driver "moves at an inappropriate speed and grossly contrary to traffic and recklessly in order to reach the highest possible speed".
