The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information is expected to prevent the screening of the film "Death on the Nile" starring Gal Gadot in all cinemas in the Gulf state because of the Israeli actress' participation in the film - the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabs reported.
A senior official in the country told the newspaper that "the ministry will not allow the screening of the film and it has been removed from the screening lists of the three film companies in the country."
According to reports in Kuwait, the move follows a demand by the "boycott movement on the Zionist entity."
In the past, the Ministry of Information in the country also banned the screening of "Wonder Woman" starring Gal Gadot, claiming that she had previously been a soldier in the "Israeli occupation army."

As soon as the film's PR campaign began at the end of 2021, a storm arose in many Arab countries, and many anti-Israel activists called for a boycott of it because of Gal Gadot's participation.
So far it has been reported that Kuwait is banning it, but it is not inconceivable that other Arab countries will join the boycott.
The movie "Death on the Nile" is based on a book by Agatha Christie of the same name.
Kenneth Branagh both directs it and stars in it as Detective Hercule Poirot.
According to the plot, Poirot spends his vacation on a steamer that sails in the waters of Egypt, and of course finds himself in a murder mystery.
Alongside and on the banks of the banks are also starring Russell Brand and Armie Hammer, and in the trailer itself stars a song by Depeche Mode.
The film was made following the success of "Murder on the Orient Express" which is also based on Christie's book.
