More fuel prices.

According to the surveys of the Mite, on average last week the price of unleaded petrol in self mode rose to 1.819 euros per liter with an increase of 2.26 cents compared to the previous week.

The price of diesel also rose which, with an increase of 2.33 euros, exceeded 1.690 euros per liter.

For petrol this is the highest since October 2012, while for diesel the price is the highest since March 2013.

Since the beginning of the year, in less than a month and a half, a liter of petrol has risen by about 10 cents, equal to 4 euros and 99 cents a full, a refueling of diesel costs 5 euros and 26 cents more, equal , respectively, at 120 and 126 euros on an annual basis.

These are the calculations of the National Consumers Union in the light of the latest fuel prices.

In exactly one year, from the survey of February 8, 2021, when petrol was equal to 1,489 euros per liter and diesel fuel to 1,361 euros per liter, a 50-liter tank costs 16 euros and 52 cents more for petrol and 16 and 50 for diesel, with an increase of 22.2% and 24.2% respectively.

"A leap that is equivalent, on an annual basis, to a sting equal to 396 euros per year for both petrol and diesel", adds the association.

"The Government only deals,

and in an insufficient way, of light and gas, but does not realize that even gasoline is causing inflation to explode, through the increases in all the prices of goods transported by road.

For this Draghi in the next Council of Ministers should reduce excise duties by at least 20 cents, sterilizing the increases that are emptying the pockets of motorists ", concludes Dona.

More price increases at fuel distributors: "in served mode, petrol has already largely exceeded the 2 euro per liter threshold".

Codacons denounced this today, asking the Government to intervene to protect the pockets of families.

"Today gasoline costs 22.3% more than a year ago, while diesel is spent 24.3% more - reports the president Carlo Rienzi - For the pockets of consumers this is an increase of + € 16.5 in full, which determines an annual sting of almost +400 euros per family (precisely +397 euros) only for the higher costs of refueling ".

"Non-stop increases in fuel prices which are having direct effects on retail prices, with price increases in all sectors,
