Hiss passed away in 2010 at the age of 100, after her heroic story was a source of inspiration to many people around the world.

The name of the series is taken from one of Hess' most quoted sayings: "I do not want to be called a heroine; no one should ever think you have to be special to help others. Even a secretary, a housewife or a girl can turn on a small light in a dark room."

The screenwriters of the series will be John Reiter and Tony Flan ("Grey's Anatomy").

Golden Globe winner Susanna Fogel ("Woods the Night," "The Stewardess") will direct a number of episodes.

Among the main producers - Keshet executives Peter Trarugot, Alon Struzman and Avi Nir.
